Global Drum Company has gone through several incarnations over the years, spread out over the US and England. We are currently located in the beautiful Appalachian Mountains of north central West Virginia.
Global first started in the percussion industry making hand drums in the late 1980s. By the late nineties a relationship had been forged with Glenn Paquette, the then owner of Suraya Percussion. Matt took a week long intensive class in steam bending solid shells and segmented drum construction in May of 2000. That was followed by four years of consultation to build upon the knowledge gained from Glenn's class. Glenn has been instrumental in making Global what it is today and we thank him.
We continue to build upon the knowledge and experience gained through the years to bring superior drums to a wider audience. It is our mission to constantly strive to improve our products, ensuring that you get the best sounding and highest quality drums available on the market. Our goal is to continue to refine our production technology in order to pass on the benefits and savings to the customer through precision crafting. All of this is possible whilst maintaining 100% American shell manufacture and very competitive prices.
